Disclaimer
- In addition to the disclaimer at the bottom of this page,
views expressed in the forums and article comments, do not necessarily
reflect the opinions held by Asperger Services Australia.
- People posting to this website are legally responsible for the content they post.
Conduct
We encourage you to exchange your support, views and opinions.
However, be respectful of other forum participants (and their opinions)
at all times. The discussion forum is meant to allow free exchange of
views in a courteous and open environment.
Asperger Services Australia does not condone:
- posting of any private message publicly
- offensive or abusive behaviour: this includes swearing,
racist, sexist, discriminatory or other inflammatory comments that may
provoke other members of this community
- harass, impersonate or personally attack any member or administrator of this community
- copyright infringement: including the sharing of serial keys,
illegal software/music/video downloads or other illegal activities
- inciting other members to perform any of the above
This includes discussion of locked topics, banned members, why they
were banned and anything else that causes conflict with the Asperger
Services Australia Management Committee.
Posting of private messages is not permitted, except in cases where the original sender of the message has given explicit
approval for their message to be published. The forum moderators
reserve the right to check for such authorisation, and to remove any
posts containing such private messages if approval has not been granted.
The moderators may at any time and at their discression, remove any
posts containing material which may cause offence, deemed commercial,
or is against any of the rules stated for this board. No correspondence
will be entered into — Moderator Decisions Are Final.
Posting Specifications
- Before you post your message take a good look at what you have written and consider how it may be interpreted by others.
- Please do not duplicate threads or create similarly themed
threads. When starting a new thread, please do a forum search on the
relevant keywords to ensure a thread on the same topic doesn't already
exist.
- When choosing a forum to post a thread, post in the most
appropriate forum for your thread — do not cross-post the same thread
in multiple forums. If you need your thread moved, just ask a
moderator.
- Posts should not contain...
- Unlawful harassing, defamatory, explicit, abusive,
threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially
offensive, or any other material of this nature is not acceptable and
will be removed. Please refer to the Australian Net Law Guidelines and RFC1855: Netiquette Guidelines.
- Advertising of any products, services or organisations for
commercial purposes are not permissible. You may refer to
products/services in the context of a discussion relating to Asperger's
Syndrome.
- Material that promotes personal agendas. Information-sharing
and debate about a range of issues and campaigns are welcome, of
course, but single-issue preaching and crusading are not.
- If you have an issue with another forum member,
talk to them about it somewhere other than the Asperger Services
Australia forums/website.
The forum moderators reserve the right to delete any post that does not comply with the above guidelines.
