Thanks ladies, it's nice to hear that I'm not over exaggerating the disappointment.

My bridesmaids have now sent out proper invitations in the mail, so we'll see how that goes. They sent them on Friday, and haven't heard back from anyone yet though, but that could have been because of the public holiday messing with the mail.

You are right Neils, if they don't come, good riddance. At least I will have the people there that really care about me.

After the first lot of disappointment, I was pretty set on NOT having one, and doing what you did and just going out with my bridesmaids, but they convinced me to have one. It would be nice to have everyone there, but we will see.

Yes Selena, it is pretty shitty behaviour. Especially when one of them is one we went camping with on the weekend in their new camper trailers. It turns out we were not even sloppy second choice, it was about 4th or 5th choice, and they only really invited us because they wanted someone to camp with them in the rain!!! They are brand new canvas tents, so they need to be wet really well to make them waterproof, and we were the lucky ones they picked to get wet with..... not very happy about that! It was only then that she said "oh I never got back to you on that, did I?" NO you didn't....

The silly thing though is that our Tupperware parties rock, we have so much fun, our organiser is really awesome. But it wasn't just that either, we were going to continue on after the Tupperware and get bang on it

Those silly straws and veil are just ridiculous and I would never use/wear them, my bridesmaids should know me well enough to avoid that!!!

Oh well, what happens happens, if no one decides to come then I'll just go out with the girls and the rest of them can go get stuffed!!!

I finally got some replies to my Bridal shower too, though 2 of them were no's, at least one was a yes! It was an old friend from my old work place, and she is a barrel of laughs, so it will be great to see her again and have her get the party started

It's so funny, the people that said no were my soon to be sister-in-law and mother-in-law. So my friend who was getting the RSVP's asked them outright if they still wanted to contribute to the Bridal Shower bhahahahaha.

So if my sister-in-law thought she could get out of it, apparently it's not that easy

I love my 2 good friends that are close by, they have been keeping me sane these last few weeks. I'm glad I have had them here so that I could get hugs when I needed them, it's been a shitty few weeks. Lucky I have managed to keep 2 good ones

NICE COMBO CHE

Jodes - weddings are so stressful. In a few years you will look back and only remember the good parts.

I like that combo too

Thanks Che, I'm really looking forward to it, I hope I don't get disappointed once again!

It's funny though Rob, I have been the calmest bride to be anyone has ever seen.
Why? Because I'm an Aspie and I have everything organised and under control
