Thank you to Gillian who alerted us to the upcoming Brisbane Writers' Festival Event.
On Friday 9 September, there will be a one-hour talk on Asperger's syndrome at the Brisbane Writers' Festival at the State Library.
The speaker is John Elder Robison who has written an autobiography "Look me in the eyes: my life with Asperger's".
The focus of the talk is learning to cope with difference and problems.

Robison is also speaking on a couple of panel sessions on the Saturday and Sunday. These sessions are free, but are not just about Asperger's.
